Since few Members have tried to make Virtually Real Finds
We are pitting GCGC Members against each other to make both Virtual and Real finds on the site
The member with the highest find count at 9:00pm on 09/03/2018
will recieve a VRC Medallion.
To make it more interesting we, The GCGC Staff, Challenge you to make more finds than than any of us do.
This will be a difficult challenge as some of the Staff have been playing and already have some significant find counts.
Your challenge is to have a find count greater than the GCGC Staff member with the highest find count at the deadline of 9:00 pm on 09/03/2018.
IMPOSSIBLE you say?
Not in the least.
VRC's can be found quickly and with your Geocaching knowledge of the area it should be easy to make several finds each time you login to VRC.
Granted a few of us have a tremendous lead for you to overcome and they will continue to make finds on VRC during the Challenge but it is possible to catch them and ultimately surpass them with some determination.
As a reward for beating the most prolific GCGC Staff member VRC player we have uncovered a previously unknown single
Trackable Wooden GCGC Geocoin
- Contest begins NOW
- Member -vs- Member contest: Highest find count wins a VRC Medallion.
- Member -vs- Staff contest: Member with a higher find count than GCGC Staff member with the highest find count wins a Trackable Wooden GCGC Geocoin.
- All finds (virtual, real, Anywhere and Time Travel) are counted.
- Staff are not eligible to win either contest (GCGC Lackey, Admin level)
- Must adhere to general VRC guidelines for finds.
- Find count subject to correction for invalid finds or errors in logging (by decision of VRC Admin(s))
- Additional VRC locations may be added during the challenge period.
- If no Member outplays GCGC Staff the geocoin will be retained for future contests.
- The GCGC reserves the right to alter or modify rules as needed during the course of the contest(s)
- Contest(s) end at 9:00 pm 09/03/2018
