I should have posted about this already, but better late than never. In June, my family went to Europe and we were able to geocache in several countries we had not been to before. We found several in London, Vienna, Prague, and Germany. I thought I'd mention a few things that stood out. In Prague, we found this cache that was a virtual cache of a mechanical statue by David Cerny. We have a larger version of one of these in Charlotte (Here). So, it was neat to see this everyday when we left our apartment. One of our draws to Berlin was it has the most favorited cache (9583 favorites). We found it, but weren't that impressed. Nothing wrong with it, but was surprised at the number of favorites. Also in Berlin, this is the most unique cache we found while there. If you're planning to go soon, you should probably skip this part since I'm going to spoil it. It was a sock hung on a wire between two poles by a clothes pin. None of us could reach it. So, we had to hold my 6-year old daughter up high enough so she could unclip it. Then we were able to get the log out. Afterwards, she had to put it back for us. I don't know how this one stays. I guess most people walking by don't want to touch a random sock on a wire. I have no idea how anyone could have missed seeing us getting the sock down on the street corner with lots of people passing us, but someone logged it today. So, I guess it's still there. Anyway, we had a great time, seeing new sites and new geocaches. Thought I'd share a few.
