Drive and Hide
For this contest you are going to be hiding caches.
Nothing unusual or special required except that you will be adding a GCGC Banner to your cache page.
The goal is to invigorate the GCGC with new members from the area by making them aware of the club in hopes that they will join and become an active participant in the forum.
How the contest works:

How the contest works:
- Hide a new cache with the specified GCGC Banner
- Add the specified GCGC Banner to an existing cache you already own.
- Points are earned for every cache listing that includes the Contest Banner
- More points are earned when a new member posts in the forum referencing one of your D&H Bannered caches as the reason they found / joined the GCGC
- The member that accumulates the most points wins a GCGC Drive and Hide Medallion for their profile
Sounds simple enough and it is.
Some Fine Print:
Any Geocache listing service may be used.
GC generally does not allow caches that promote something or ask for any action by the finder so be cautious in your text. OCNA will have no issue.
Other sites may have their own restrictions.
Make a single post in the contest thread listing your D&H Bannered caches.
Add newly entered D&H caches to this post. One post per member with all entries.
Indicate each cache as NEW or Existing. New caches are those published during the contest period.
Please provide a link to each cache entered and points earned for each.
To get credit for recruiting a new member that new member must post a comment in the forum crediting your banner / cache as the reason they joined or found us.(posting must occur during the contest period)
Contest will run from 01/01/2018 to 03/31/2018
Points:
1 point per existing cache to which the banner is added
3 points per newly published D&H cache submitted
10 points per NEW member that posts in the forum crediting your cache as the reason they found / joined the GCGC
Here is the banner to be used on your cache page displayed in two sizes

Create your cache listing.
Add the banner image to your cache page.
The banner may be adjusted to fit your cache page the way you like it.
You may find it easier to complete the listing first and then edit the cache page and add the banner in EDIT.
There will be additional information for those new members when they first visit the site about the contest to aid you in getting credit.(you will not see this but they will)
There will also be information prompting new members to make a post and credit the participating member in the regular forum.
We will do what we can to encourage a posting for you but you can also encourage finders (and others) to give your entry credit for joining (how and when is up to you)
Instruction for adding the banner to your cache page:
Enter the following code on your page in a location you like (copy and paste, alter as instructed)
Entered as shown below will span nearly from edge to edge of the page
Remove any of these * you see in the code
To adjust the size of the banner, change the numbers in BLUE as you see fit.
