I have meant to mention this for a while now and finally remembered.
It looks like we may have an answer to whether a certain cache is actually in the park or not (not that there was ever a real question asked)
There once was a home near Idlewild that was just outside the park. Last year it went up for sale, A neat piece of property bordered by a wooded dog kennel and a park where you had to drive through an old barn to access ( I actually did it once during my previous employment but have no other memory of the event) the unremarkable home nestled in the woods. Having found all the caches in the park RV added a challenge cache right on the edge. It was a little unnerving to find the final that is in view of the home and it's occupants if they were out back or peeking through a window.
Now that the single family home property is about to become a development of several homes, I assume they took the time to survey the property to divide it up into several lots and if it ever stops raining long enough for construction to resume we will find this cache either removed as the trees are cleared for profit and to provide backyards or it will still be available for future finders just beyond the new owners now cleared back yard(s). Some maps show it well within the park, others not so much.
We might soon see another posting by RV in the Memoriam thread. RV and I are both rapidly running out of caches to list there as our antique hides disappear.
If you have found most or all of the current GC caches in Idlewild Park it might be time to complete the challenge before the culling of the trees begins just in case.
