PROGRESSION
A Progression of Favorite Points
We all love to find a highly coveted Geocache with lots of Favorite Points.
For this contest we are going to see how high we can go in progressivly finding Favorite Point Caches.
For this contest we start at 0 Favorite points and Progress one point at a time to see just how high we can reach in finding caches with Favorite Points that total our goal.
I suspect there may be "voids" in Favorite Points as we move up the scale. Just prove it to us and we will move on to the next number. This will be an easy contest for all to participate in. All you have to do is seek out caches that have the needed number of Favorite Points and post your find here. You can play from any location that has GC caches. We will find a prize for the winner along with a GCGC Medallion.

Find a cache with the appropriate number of favorite points.
We will start at 0 (zero) Favorite Points and work our way up
We will go in increments of 1 (one)
Post your find here with a link to the cache and the number of Favorite Points at the time of your find
First to log here will earn credit for the find of a cache with the required Favorite Points.
How to Play:
Starting with 0 (zero) Favorite Points, find a cache with 0 Favorite Points.
Post your find here with a link to the cache and the number of Favorite Points posted at the time of your find which should be 0
The number of Favorite Points required for the next find will increase by 1 (one)
Find the next cache with the required number of Favorite Points. This time it is 1.
Find a cache with 1 Favorite Point.
Post your find here with a link to the cache and the number of Favorite Points posted at the time of your find which should be 1.
The number of Favorite Points required for the next find will increase by 1 (one)

Only finds found during and for this contest count. (no previous finds)
First to post here get credit for the find regardless of place on the cache log sheet or cache page.
No jumping ahead. Finds must occur for a particular cache AFTER they are posted here as the next Favorite Point goal. (no sandbagging your finds for later use)
No manipulation of Favorite Points. Don't have another add or remove one or any variation of this to accomplish a specific number for your find.
Only caches on Geocaching.com are permitted in the contest. Any GC cache with the correct number of Favorite Points in any location is valid.
No Team finds. Only one person may claim the find for the contest. If a group finds it only the first individual that claims a find here will be credited with the find.
You may also Favorite a cache after the find. The log should reflect your addition. The Favorite Point count must have been the goal before your addition.
Caches found during the contest may only be found once. A cache used in the contest may not be re-found and used again in the contest regardless of Favorite Point numbers.
Should we encounter a Favorite Point "void" in which there are none that qualify within the GCGC area we will progess to the next number provided that the "void" is confirmed by staff.
COntest Rules may be altered at any time to promote gameplay.
Points:
One Point is awarded to the finder of each number Favorite Point cache that is the first to post their find here in the contest.
The winner will be the member that has the highest total of Progression finds over the contest period. Point total.
